Deep expertise in Oracle Cloud:  

Having configured Having been a key solution design, configuration, and system testing resource in more than 14 full lifecycle implementations, I have developed a deep understanding, not only in the modules in which I am often assigned, but how the entire Cloud Applications work together. I take pride in helping clients develop new business processes that provide meaningful, measurable process improvements that serve to reduce costs and improve process reliability.

 

Specialization: Oracle Supply Chain - Procurement Cloud (P2P): 

As a Certified Public Accountant, my Oracle Application skills and my experience was initially limited to Oracle Financials.  However, EY Consulting gave me the opportunity to expand my knowledge into Procurement and Supply Chain workflows.  Working in the context of automotive manufacturing plants all over the world, I developed expertise from the Procure to Pay which eventually included the full Materials Requirements Planning (MRP) process.   To understand the full MRP process, I learned not only procure to pay modules, but also supply chain manufacturing workstreams to give me a total picture understanding. 

 

I've since been able to broaden my expertise in Oracle Financials Cloud and add to it all things Supply Chain and P2P including, Payables, Purchasing, Self-Service Procurement, Supplier Portal, Inventory, Inventory Costing and Manufacturing.  worked in the Automotive industry more than any other.  My specialty in working with automotive or with any discrete manufacturing concern is working closely with the manufacturing and supply chain team in order to set up detailed Material Resource Planning (MRP) configuration that provides accurate raw material purchase recommendations. 

 

  • My goal is always to ensure purchasing requisitions will allow enough raw materials to manufacture projected orders (finished goods) yet is actuate enough to keep inventory levels as low as possible.  I began working in the supply chain from a P2P perspective in 2007.  I have completed over 6 full-life cycle projects, as part of supply chain team, at manufacturing sites, to date. 

  • While I am a CPA and Financial Advisor and have implemented and transformed many Finance and Back Office functions, my extensive supply chain experience has caused this old CPA / Accountant to be better known for my procure to pay, supply chain expertise than my Financials knowledge!

  • I currently hold several P2P-related Oracle Certifications, including Oracle Cloud Payables, Purchasing, Inventory and Costing. I also deliver presentations on procurement best practices and have presented at Oracle World in San Diego and at several OAUG conferences.

 

Specialization:  Oracle Project Portfolio Management (PPM)

Developed an expertise in Project Portfolio Management as well as the use of Grants in PPM at a public sector implementation for Baltimore Public Schools as well as a Grant and Project based finanical structure for a health care concern in New York City.   

I am able to provide projects based organizations with the most effective way to implement strategic objectives that bridges the gap between project strategy and execution.  I ensure stakeholders have visibility into their projects, programs, and operations that help ensure they are doing the right work with the appropriate resources to deliver the anticipated value to the organization. 

 

Using Oracle PPM and Grants (if applicable), I help ensure that project-based organizations can closely track:

 

  • Project costing

  • Project contracts and billing

  • Performance reporting

  • Project and task management, and

  • Resource management
